Invitations for elected officials and staff to update business and community members through the year on the challenges and initiatives facing the area currently and in the future.  Encouraging members to educate themselves on issues and candidates of interest that have direct effect on both personal and business climate and community well-being at large. 

Encouraging property owners in all communities to exercise their constitutional right and privilege of casting a ballot, with the ultimate goal of increasing voter registration in the Chambers service area, including special service districts, cities, county, state and federal entities. There are others leaders in districts on issues of concern with committee assignments that can also be reached.  Collaborative efforts around Grant County is key, as is working with neighboring counties such as Adams, Benton, Douglas, Kittitas and Yakima counties.  

Grant County Chamber executives meet quarterly for sharing concerns and considering solutions.  The Chamber is also part of the AWB Grassroots Alliance for news/action in Olympia. 

The Chamber continues building awareness of federal issues or initiatives that have direct impact on the rural areas like South Grant County.  Digital access to big issues that affect citizens is plentiful.  Here are the people in the other Washington that represent us!
