The process of improving a community's economic well-being and quality of life, involves the distribution of resources, the growth of the economy, and the development of human and social resources. Collaboration continues with local, county, regional, state and federal agencies along with private entities for long-range plans to ensure consistent supply of energy availability in the South Grant County area, for businesses and consumers alike, is on-going.
Working with Grant County Public Works to investigate possible public/private partnership options for long range solution to management of solid waste including transfer stations, recycling, composting, and long-range planning for use of landfills.
Enhancement to existing public health offerings, beyond the current local clinic programs with limited available resources outside of existing business hours, including local urgent care service hours
Coordinating efforts between the public and private sector to initiate interests and respond to inquiries about locating or expanding businesses in the South Grant County region.
Traveling to different places for leisure, exploration, or recreation involves individuals or groups visiting destinations outside their usual environment for a range of purposes. Supporting elements include relaxation, cultural experiences, adventure, attractions, historical education, and can spawn unique business opportunities/investments to create jobs that serve the many silos that drive a local economy.
