Transform Your Business with South Grant County WA Chamber of Commerce

Chamber serves as a representative body, free of special interest groups, through which members can support collective action in the region. 

To  advance the general welfare/prosperity of the southern most area of Grant County, WA so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. All necessary means of promotion shall be provided, and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, civic, commercial, cultural, industrial and educational interest of the area. 

To preserve the competitive enterprise system of business, educate and represent the business community, prevent or address controversies that could be detrimental to the expansion/growth of business in the community, create a better appreciation of the value of a competitive business climate and foster business growth and development to strengthen and expand business in the area.  

Primary sphere of influence is defined as South Grant County, including but not limited to Beverly, Desert Aire, Mattawa, Royal City, Schwana, Wahluke Slope, Warden/Marine View, the unincorporated areas, special service districts, and local municipalities, with a secondary scope of working in partnership with neighboring areas  around WA state. 

Shall observe all local, state and federal laws that apply to a nonprofit organization as defined in Section 501c6 of the Internal Revenue Code and WA Non-Profit Corporation Act as defined in RCW 24.03A, and to foster collaboration within the economic region, Chamber may establish other allowed entities under the nonprofit status to enhance specific initiatives for the region. 

Responsibilities of the organization shall be vested in the Board of Directors , which shall control property, be responsible for its finances and direct its affairs, relying on the governing documents to guide the actions and plans of the Chamber, to be carried out by developing assistance and support of the Chamber membership.
